In enzymology, a 2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 2'-phosphodiesterase () is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction :nucleoside 2',3'-cyclic phosphate + H2O nucleoside 3'-phosphate Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are nucleoside 2',3'-cyclic phosphate and H2O, whereas its product is nucleoside 3'-phosphate. This enzyme belongs to the family of hydrolases, specifically those acting on phosphoric diester bonds. The systematic name of this enzyme class is nucleoside-2',3'-cyclic-phosphate 3'-nucleotidohydrolase.
